@Alan Scaling problem

We scaled the scene to fit the character but it has messed up the lighting even though we scaled the lights with the scene. I've tried scaling the character to fit the scene where the lighting is correct but it goes all funny. Is there a way to fix this or is there a way to properly scale lights to keep all the lighting intact?

Texturing the last bits

Before I could go ahead and render out the 80's scene I needed to UV map and texture the Walkman, below is the results.

Character Design: Villain prop/environment

Here are some more thumbnails and my progress on the final concept art of my villain prop/environment. I really struggled getting the perspective right in this one I drew it out about 10 different times trying to get it the foreground and background elements in the correct perspective, but I'm only posting a few of them. In the end I changed the composition of the image to make it a little easier for myself. The fourth image is the progress of my final concept art its still in the beginning phases, just has the basic light and shadows in it, with none of the carving detail in the tree or the stones yet but I thought I would post up my progress with it.

Scene 3 animated in after effects

Having finished rendering out scene 3 and combining the toon render with the final render in Photoshop. I took the images into after effects and animated them with their correct timings. Below is scene 3 animated in after effects.

Vinyl Playblast

I was going to animate this scene in after effects but when I rendered out so test shots of the different layers the shadows from the other objects didn't appear or where in the wrong place. So I have animated it in maya and this is the playblast for the Gramophone.

Lighting Tests

Since my render time was a little excessive I had to make a few changes to it. I think it looks a lot better now, and the mirror is the way it should be now as well.

Moving back to scene 3 again, adding an ambient occlusion and rendering out the toon lines on a separate layer I finally managed to get the lighting for this Scene done. It's quite subtle but it's really just to give a bit more light and depth to the image.

And then lighting the first part of the Vinyl scene. Most of the lighting was already done for this just had to make sure that the scene wasn't to dark and that there were some nice shadows from the candles above it.
