I would suggest reordering your review (think three act structure)...
1) Introduction to the film - Its creation and story 2) The Hero's / Writers Journey - Joseph Campbell, Chris Vogler, and how the Lion King fits in to the stages. You should include archetypes here too (missing at the moment). 3) The criticism of the film and your conclusion.
Also, try to write your reviews for people who know nothing about the Hero's Journey - E.g explain the steps and then apply them to the Lion King (one short scentence would be enough).

Also...It was originally based upon Hamlet but later became more like Macbeth...see link below....
